The Society for the Study of the Crusades and the Latin East is sponsoring two sessions at the International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University from May 14-16, 2026.


The sessions focus on Crusading and Warfare and Crusading, Preaching, and Pilgrimage (co-sponsored with International Medieval Sermon Studies Society). Submit abstracts by September 15, 2025, through the Western Michigan University’s website here: https://wmich.edu/medievalcongress/call
